Distribution of Monthly Climate Data for a Species

Specify a species and a climate variable, and press the Get Graph button. Then the ranges of the monthly climate data at the habitats of the accessions of the species are shown.

You may select the species by using the taxonomy tree that can be activated with the Browse Tax button.

Also, one location may be specified. You may obtain the longitude and latitude values of this location by clinking on the map opened with the From Map button.

Climate Distribution for a Species

The distribution of the values of each climate variable selected is shown as a histogram for the habitats of the accessions of a species. A species and a set of climate variables need be specified.

You may select the species by using the taxonomy tree
that can be activated with the Browse Tax button.

Also, one location may be specified. You may obtain the longitude and latitude values of this location by clinking on the map opened with the From Map button.

Climate Factor Distribution for a Species

The distribution of the values of climate variables is shown as a scatter plot for all the habitats of an accessions of the selected species. A species and a month need be specified.

You may select the species by using the taxonomy tree
that can be activated with the Browse Tax button.

The graph can be obtained by clicking on the Get Graph button.

Climate Data for the Habitat of an Accession

The monthly values of each climate variable selected is shown as a line graph for the habitat of an accession specified.

Also, one location may be specified.  You may obtain the longitude and latitude values of this location by clinking on the map opened with the From Map button.

Distribution of Favorable Climate Condition

The geographic distribution of the values of a climate variable is shown on a map. The map is color-coded according to the species and the climate variable selected. The values of the climate variable X are retrieved for the habitats of all the accessions of the selected species, and the mean value µ and the standard deviation σ of those values are computed. Then the areas are color-coded according to the following ranges of the values of X:
X < µ - 2 * σ, µ - 2 * σ < X < µ - σ, µ - σ < X < µ,
µ < X < µ + σ , µ + σ < X < µ + 2 * σ, µ + 2 * σ < X
